Velifer ist ein Pflanzenschutzmittel mit der Zulassungsnummer 4599-0, eingetragen im Pflanzenschutzmittelregister des BAES. Es ist in 47 Kulturen zugelassen. Zugelassen unter anderem in Zierpflanzenkulturen, Ackerbaukulturen und Ampfer-Arten sowie 44 weiteren Kulturen gegen Kalifornischer Blütenthrips (FRANOC, Frankliniella occidenta und Zwiebelthrips (THRITB, Thrips tabaci). Die Zulassung gilt bis 20.2.2030.
