2. Data we collect

Account data: email, name, password (encrypted).
Farm notebook data: parcels (cadastral reference, SIGPAC identifiers, area, crop), recorded tasks (type, date, product, registration number, dose, treated area), expenses/income you note, and applicator details you choose to store (NIF, ROPO card).
Farm data: members and roles of teams you create or join.
Usage data: via Google Analytics (aggregate) and Microsoft Clarity (heatmaps, anonymised session recordings), when active.

3. Purposes and legal basis

Providing the service (contract): storing and syncing your notebook, validating products.
Submission to the regional registry (SIEX): only when you order it.
Analytics (consent) and operational communications (contract/legitimate interest).

5. Retention

Notebook data: while your account exists (farm regulations require keeping notebook records for at least 3 years; you can export before deleting). Analytics: 14 months.

6. Your rights

Access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability: write to support@agrogps.eu. You can also export all your data from the app, free, at any time. Complaints: Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es).

7. International transfers

Notebook data is hosted in the EU. Some analytics providers may process data outside the EU under the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

8. Changes

Substantial changes will be announced on the site and, if you have an account, by email.

Agro GPS add-on for Google Sheets

What it does: when you use its formulas (AGRO_PRODUCTO, AGRO_CONDICIONES, AGRO_BUSCAR) or its sidebar, it sends to api.agrogps.eu only the registration number, product name, country and crop you type, and returns the data from the official plant protection product register.
Which Google data it uses: only the cells of the open spreadsheet where you use its formulas and your account language, to show its texts. It does not read other files, Gmail, Drive or your contacts, and it does not collect your name or email address.
What we keep: nothing of the content of your spreadsheets. Answers are cached for 6 hours in your own Google document's cache. Our server keeps a technical record of each request (IP address and product looked up) only to prevent abuse; it is not linked to your Google account, not sold, and not used for advertising or to train AI models.
Limited Use: Agro GPS's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Cookies and web analytics

What we use: Google Analytics 4, by Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland), on this site and in the web app at agrogps.eu/app, where it runs through Firebase, from the same provider. On this site also Microsoft Clarity, by Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited.
What for: to learn, in aggregate, which pages are visited, where visits come from and which buttons are used (opening the app, going to the stores, sending the programme application) so we can improve Agro GPS. We do not use it for advertising.
Until you accept: we use Google consent mode. No analytics cookie is stored in your browser and Google only receives cookieless signals without identifiers (event type, page, language), with advertising turned off. Clarity is not loaded.
If you accept: Google Analytics stores the _ga and _ga_<ID> cookies (up to 2 years) and Clarity the _clck (1 year) and _clsk (1 day) cookies. Analytics data is kept for at most 14 months.
Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Art. 5(3) of Directive 2002/58/EC). Google and Microsoft may process data in the US under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses.
Your choice: applies to all of agrogps.eu, the web app included, and is stored in your browser. You can change it at any time.

AI assistant and the Premium for your feedback programme

AI assistant: what you type or dictate to the assistant is sent to Anthropic, PBC, acting as our processor, to prepare a record proposal that you confirm before it is saved. Dictation is turned into text on your device: we do not upload or store audio.
What we keep and why: the text, the proposal, your corrections and the outcome, linked to your account, to improve the assistant (legitimate interest). Kept for up to 12 months. You can switch it off in the app Settings, and it is deleted when you delete your account.
Training: Anthropic does not use this data to train its models. Anthropic may process it outside the EU under the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
Applications to the Premium for your feedback programme: name, organisation, country, type, size, the software you use, email, language, and the date and version of the policy you accept. Used only to manage the programme and your Premium (consent). Kept while you take part plus 12 months. We send no automated emails.
